L.A. Boulevard Sidewalk sound rolls Over barren ground. Buildings stand tall and proud. On L.A. Boulevard. Streets gone cold, Signs for the goods we're sold. Girls with their haircut blues, Lost in the sun. This urban odyssey Of life in the city. And all these struggles To be free Are taking the best, The best of me. The actress cries, Just at the drop of a dime. And then she waves goodbye From the old man's car. Chrome heart blue, Goes with her new grey shoes. And he will be gone real soon, So she can leave again. Trapped inside, She needs a place to hide. Then like a princess bride, Crashes in the flame. Dreaming for her, Drives her through The sands of time. Wandering, wounded, West of Eden in her mind. Feeling for her Is just another day's pain. Healing noone, So young she'll change some day. She will change some day. This urban odyssey Of life in the city. And all these struggles To be free Are taking the best, The best of me. written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Penelope 04:46
Penelope I have nothing But praise for Penelope. Her lover sent beyond A distant sea. A long way away, She sits by the oak tree. Saving her love, A longing loyalty. Have you heard of the girl From the olden days? She sewed his father's robe To keep the boys at bay. A warrior won her soul, So she wants to wait. She promised him her heart, And that's where he's gonna stay. Oh Penelope, All the time you weave. I see you growing strong From your adversity. You keep holding on Through eternity. Perpetuality for Penelope. She had the ocean's eyes And an angel's face. Her skin was like A flower bloom in perfect grace. Year after year, Her faith would never break. This woman's righteous heart, Too strong to forsake. Today a soldier's wife Is waiting by the phone. I hope she finds the strength Of the lady in this song. The lady in this song, Who waited for so long. Oh Penelope, Lady of the sea. I see you growing strong From your adversity. You keep holding on Through eternity. Perpetuality for Penelope. written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Blue Earth Records NewTune Publishing Co.

Bittersweet 03:52
Bittersweet Oh baby I can't deny. I think of you all the time. I long to hold you And make everything right. And I know that one night soon Under a southern moon. I'm gonna show you Baby what good love can do. It's Bittersweet These roots in the ground Down deep These questions I have found. I'll try to give you all I can And daylight will Shine on us again. Feels like I'm living in a trance. Guess this could be My second chance. And where it goes now. Baby, nobody knows. And so now here I go again. Living with you under my skin. Is that the sun now? Maybe we've already won. It's Bittersweet These roots in the ground Down deep These questions that I've found. I'll try to give you all I can And daylight will Shine on us again. It's Bittersweet These roots in the ground Down deep These questions I have found. I'll try to give you all I can And daylight will Shine on us again. written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Blue Earth Records NewTune Publishing Co.

Shine 04:34
Shine I'm world's apart When i walk the floor. That black little card I don't need anymore. Give me mercy From the falling rain. Nurse me, kiss me, Make me whole again. Run with the river And glow like the sun. Be my forgiver, And holy one. Boat on the ocean, Write in the sky. Calm the commotion, Dry my eyes. And when it feels Like hope is gone, Make me strong enough To carry on. Fill me up with faith And take me home, and Lay your love on me, And I will shine my light on you I've been waiting A long, long time. Like a blooming flower, I'm in my prime. Climbed over mountains, The core of the earth. Gazed in the fountain, The life of my birth. Lay your love on me And i will shine my light on you written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Blue Earth Records NewTune Publishing Co.

Ode to New Orleans It was a ghost town The day before the storm came A haunting horn sound Drifted past the Esplanade The hallowed high ground Hunkered down for the hurricane The levee fell down Fortune spared the Vieux Carre' And we were singing run, run Run, river, run from the old way Run, run, run river run to the new day Jumped a streetcar Made our way out of New Orleans Found the north star And drove all night From the southern sea When the water left The quarter stood on the river bank Wreckage at its steps That same old saxophone Rang and rang And the golden heart Of the city survived Saint Louis cathedral, calming blue skies When you're living with the river You know you're alive. And we were singing run, run Run, river, run from the old way Run, run, run river run to the new day Un chanson por la ville mon ami written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Stay in My Dream I made up my mind I saw the sign Now I know. Hold onto the one Who walks in the sun Of my soul. These words that I feel Define what is real And let it show. And I felt the rain On a long summer day And all of my pain In time flew away It ran through the night And stayed in my dream Stay in my Dream Maybe you'll find A beautiful light in my heart We'll go down to the sea Gaze through the trees At the stars Reach out to the sky Let the world clarify Just where we are. And I felt the rain On a long summer day And all of my pain In time flew away It ran through the night And stayed in my dream Stay in my Dream written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Glance 05:18
Glance All of my life I have been so blue, Waiting for the love From a girl like you. And when i find you, i hope you stay And you will never Ever go away Open your heart And you will find You can escape Analytical mind Don't be afraid of my love Don't be afraid of love You know you can't choose The one you love. It's written in the stars In the sky above. We make mistakes And we learn the truth. And when it's right, We will know what to do. You may have been Hurt in the past. It's so hard when it doesn't last But don't you give up on love Don't you give up on love So gimme just a Glance. You'll never know, If you don't give love a chance. So gimme just a Glance. Maybe now we can find a little romance. There was a time When i closed my heart. I would fix the game Before it would start. Things from my childhood Needed to heal. When you are numb, It is hard to feel. Today i have come a long long way. Deep in my soul i have learned to pray. The light of the world is love The light of the world is love. written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Blue Earth Records NewTune Publishing Co

Hollywood Love Don't want no Hollywood Love A little too much push and shove. You change your lovers Like you change your shoes. And everytime it's The front page news. Don't tell me that your love is true. Just because you're well to do. Don't pretend to represent me. Life is more than a silver screen. We're real people here, Living real lives. No temporary tinsel town wives. I don't really think That you're that cool. Just a fool with no golden rule. Those diamond rings that you Buy fancy flings with, You know they never could, They never could buy you love. You're politics About to make me sick. All those lies in your movie flicks. You're so predictable With your views, So here is my review of you. I don't really think you Know your stuff Cause you run When the going gets tough. Those diamond rings that you Buy fancy flings with, You know they never could, They never could buy you love. One word now before I go, This is not just a fashion show. Mr. Movie star find the time. Read your history books, And hold the line. The real heroes are fighting for you A little less lies and a lot more truth. written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Dancin' in the Sun I heard you're lookin for some fun. Now that all your work is done. There's only one thing you should do. Before you break yourself in two. Turn and smile at your friends. And all your loneliness will end. You'll find us Dancin' in the Sun. And see us loving everyone. And we'll be livin' for the day. And we will never fade away. I once was late on the rent. Checked my pocket it was spent. Climbed a hill hit the trail. No more money in the mail. She telephoned just to say. That she will love me anyway. Lost my job, wrecked my truck. Needed a way to earn a buck. Went down that road before. Not gonna worry anymore. And i don't care what they say. Cause i am happy anyway. You'll find us Dancin' in the Sun. And see us loving everyone. And we'll be livin' for the day. And we are gonna fly away. written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved. Blue Earth Records NewTune Publishing Co.

La La Land 05:10
La La Land Everybody wants To be a big star, When you're living in La La Land Where you're judged By the size of your car, And the color of your two-bit tan. Where your plumber is a drummer And your waiter an actor too. Your postman writes His script at night Justa waitin' for his big breakthrough. We're living in La La Land . We're living in La La Land. Where the sun is really groovy And they're making lots of movies, La lalalala la land. Well, I was just another soul child When I moved to The city of dreams. The people would show me Their crocodile smiles, And size me up With their schemes. You could say that I was clueless, Straight from my folks' backyard. Pretty soon I was Completely shoeless, And charging up my credit card. So I took every job I could muster And I barely could pay my bills. The sign on the hill Kind of lost its luster, And i just couldn't find a thrill. But just before I hit the road For the four day drive back south. Made up my mind That i could not go And decided to hang out. Well, the relentless rent Kept coming, And I didn't have too much choice In my free time I just kept on strumming, And finding my own voice. I was just another dreaming fool With a day job and a plan And slowly then My sound turned true And I found a funky little band. written by: Daniel Glen Timms © 2007 All Rights reserved.
